Cucumber Dressing

cucumber, peeled and thinly sliced
1 teaspoon chopped fresh or dried pennyroyal (mint)
2 tablespoons (30ml) raisin wine
1 tablespoon (15ml) fish sauce
1 tablespoon (15ml) red wine vinegar
2 drops asafetida tincture or 1 pinch asafetida powder

Arrange the cucumbers in a dish; combine the other ingredients and pour over. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for a couple of hours to marinate.
